I sent Gordon a simple doodle of how I wanted my website to look. He came back with a living breathing real thing. I think he might be a bit of a wizard.
Background
Andre already has a well established blog, but with a book deal signed, he wanted his personal website updated. With a keen sense of design and style, Andre already knew he wanted a clean, simple design.
Details
The basic design was already in place, and the brief was to retain the clean look of the site to compliment Andre's doodles (the subject of his book deal).
Moving the navigation, and providing a subtle mouseover effect ties the 'brand' together, and the use of the existing Typepad account means that Andre can continue to add to the content that is displayed, and allows him some freedom in deciding what is displayed on each page.
Technologies
Typepad provides the engine that powers the site with the template coding handled using CSS and HTML, with a little Javascript used in the navigation.
