Background
This website was for a startup, home run operation, providing hand-crafted gift cards. The brief was to create a modern website mainly to drive business to the contact form rather than online sales.
Details
A simple site was the key brief, and with the logo and colour scheme already agreed a fixed sized site seemed like the best fit to the design brief. Using some CSS for a nice hide/show effect on the "Card Samples" link, allowed me to easily drill down into further detail without impacting the overall look and feel of the website.
As there was no call for online ordering there was no worry about the limited space available, and the site delivers a nice bold, contemporary take on the usual 'birthday card' style site.
